THE FUTURE IS GREEN

At MHO-Co we aim to operate our OSVs and CTVs with the best reliability and safety in the offshore wind industry, at the lowest cost.

We design our vessels to be best on safety, comfort for technical staff and with low fuel consumption for a greener and a more economical service. Our goal is to operate and maintain our vessels to be available to clients 365 days a year. The most operating days per year in the industry.

In 2021 we have introduced two innovative 35m hybrid offshore support vessels for an even greener service.

MHO Esbjerg

MHO Esbjerg is one of our two twin offshore support vessels.

The catamaran is designed by CEO Mik Henriksen, and she was introduced in May 2019. Like her sister ship MHO Gurli, her large size, high safety and brilliant fuel economy enables her to transport 24 technicians and 65 tons goods – and she conquers high waves and operates up to 365 days a year in a safe and environmental-friendly manner. MHO Esbjerg is designed with a fender that docks at just about any type offshore platform or wind turbine.

OUR FLEET

The Fleet is specialized to service and support the offshore energy and wind industry. Our modern offshore support vessels are some of the largest and most safe and reliable vessels in the industry with low fuel consumption and high performance. Our crew transfer vessels meet the industry’s needs with nice and relaxing facilities for technicians and lots of space for transporting equipment, containers and other goods.

We are proud to design and build our own offshore support vessel, and we know every single detail of them. The great insight helps us to continuously expand our knowledge and competencies.

All our vessels comply with all ISO certification requirements and we are constantly working to optimize our safety systems so that our vessels are operated according to the International Safety Management System (ISM).

MHO Apollo

MHO Apollo is one of our new hybrid twins – the crew transfer vessels of the future.

Designed by CEO Mik Henriksen and introduced in September 2021, the catamaran comes with a new hybrid propulsion package, ensuring an even more sustainable operation while maintaining the same high safety standard and large capacity as always.

The electric motor allows the ship to reduce the emission of CO2 considerably, with an expected reduction of approx. 475 ton less CO2 emitted than a traditional diesel driven ship. The CTV is fitted with 8 cabins and a lounge area, allowing the crew a comfortable preparation for the tasks ahead.

MHO Gurli

Our MHO Gurli is one of our two special designed catamarans, which was launched in 2019. She is also designed by CEO Mik Henriksen and her large size, high safety and excellent fuel economy enables her to transport 24 technicians and 65 tons goods in a safe and environmental-friendly manner, up to 365 days a year and even in rough waters.

Furthermore, her special designed fender enables her to dock at just about any type of wind turbines or offshore platform.

CUTTING-EDGE DESIGN: HYBRID CTVS

We aspire to be at the forefront of the green transition in the industry. And with our new hybrid CTVs, MHO Apollo and MHO Asgard, we have taken a great leap to the head of the field.

Designed by CEO Mik Henriksen, the two unique hybrid catamarans have been instated as CTVs on contract with Ørsted, operating in the North Sea. Their modern electric motors save on weight, space, and emission – and they are designed with a newly developed hybrid propulsion package, designed to make it possible to adapt to new environmentally-friendly solutions in the future.

Specifically, the capacity to adapt will be put in use, as our hybrids will serve as the focal point in a project set to develop and test a propulsion system that does not emit carbon dioxide.
